Tyann Marcink, photographer and artist

Living in the St. Louis, Missouri area with my husband Mike and three sons, Noah, Joey, and Jacob, I am blessed with the creativity and skills to design stunning media, whether in print or on screen. Each of my pieces began as a personal gift for someone and then grew to a hobby and business.

When not designing for Marcink Designs or painting for Little Elephant Company, I am volunteering in my sons' school classrooms or running one of them to their sports practice. In the fall I enjoy attending craft shows in the St. louis area, bringing not only my Marcink Designs art but also my Little Elephant Company line of inspired children's room decor.

You can also find me on the occasional photowalk, learning more in a photography class, or admiring the talented photographers on Google+. One of these days I will learn how to create HDR (high dynamic range) photos, but in the meantime I will content myself with marveling at the HDR photos of others.

In the fall of 2011 we purchased 5 acres, and I am quite excited about building our new house that will include my very own studio. And after all three boys are in school, I will have time to finish writing a series of historical romance novels based on my great-great-great grandparents...right?
